You question is not very clear. What do you mean by “minimum value of X and Y”? Each of X and Y has a minimal value, but they may not be attainable at the same time.
For instance, if X >= 1, Y >= 2, X+Y >= 4, what is the “minimum value of X and Y”?

How can you solve something that you don’t know what it is?
You’d better clarify the meaning of the question before attempting to solve it.
